Code of Conduct

ChefSuite expects all individuals to conduct themselves responsibly and appropriately at all times. Below are important policies aimed at enhancing the experience for everyone at our facility. You will need to sign a document acknowledging your receipt and agreement to these Codes of Conduct.
It is the responsibility of all tenants and their employees to familiarize themselves with the policies outlined in this guide and adhere to them. Failure to comply with these policies will result in disciplinary actions administered by ChefSuite, and in some cases, involvement of legal authorities. The severity of sanctions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

To have free access to their Suite.
To work in a clean and secure environment.
To the respect and safety of personal property.
To be free of intimidation or harassment.
To direct access to staff, which provides assistance, guidance and support as needed.
To equitable treatment when behavior is in question.
To host guests, within established guidelines.
TENANTS AND THEIR EMPLOYEES HAVE THE RESPONSIBILITY...
To adhere to rules and regulations of the building as outlined by ChefSuite.
To comply with reasonable requests made by ChefSuite staff and those appointed by them.
To pay all rent and fees on time.
To monitor and accept responsibility for the behavior of their guests when applicable.
To respect the rights of others, as stated above.
To report violations of rules and regulations to appropriate staff.
To participate in judicial proceedings to determine appropriate standards of behavior when applicable.
Abandoned Items
Tenants are encouraged to keep personal items secure in their Suites. Public areas of the facility (including the walk-in refrigerator, bathrooms, kitchenette, office, or any storage cabinetry) are not intended for storage of personal belongings. Items found that are left behind in public space will be considered abandoned and will be discarded. If an item is left behind and taken by another individual, ChefSuite will attempt to recover the item; however, ChefSuite is not financially responsible for the item if it cannot be recovered.
Accessing The Building
Tenants and their employees can access the building 24 hours a day through an electronic access app for your phone. All employees must be registered with the Property Manager, BEFORE beginning work in the ChefSuite facility. It is the Tenants responsibility to inform the Property Manager of any changes to staff, so that access may be adjusted accordingly. Tenants and their employees are prohibited from using another person's code, allowing anyone to use their code, or propping open any exterior access doors to gain access.
Amplified Sound
You work in a facility where it is essential that you respect your neighbors. Please keep sound levels low within your room and comply with requests to reduce intrusive noise levels. Regardless of the hour, courtesy policies are always in effect. Please respect your neighbor's space. Repeated violations of the noise policies will subject you to disciplinary sanctions. We want to provide Tenants with an atmosphere where they can enjoy working.
Bicycles And Rollerblades
If you have a bicycle, rollerblades, or skateboard; you must store them in designated areas. You are prohibited from riding them anywhere in the building.
Breakroom
There is a breakroom in the facility and is provided for tenants and their employees to use. We ask that all Tenants and their employees abide by the simple rules below so everyone in the kitchenette can enjoy the space:
Clean up after yourself.
Dispose of your trash in proper bins.
Rinse out the sink and do not clog it by removing food from the drain.
Leave no trace of leftover food by wiping down counters.
Do not leave behind food in the refrigerator.
Do not take any kitchenette supplies for your personal use.
Report any and all damages to equipment or the space, to the property manager.
ChefSuite staff will clean out the shared fridge every week, any food left will be thrown out.
Burning Substances
Burning any substance in the building is not permitted. This includes, but is not limited to, burning of candles, matches, water pipes and incense. Water pipes, candles and incense are prohibited in the facility, if found, these will be confiscated and disposed of by staff. ChefSuite reserves the right to enter the Suite at any time without warning if ChefSuite has a reasonable suspicion that burning substances is occurring.
Common Spaces
Common spaces within the facility are open to Tenants and their employees. All Tenants and their employees using these spaces must follow the below rules:
Be respectful of others and mindful that this is community space.
Be courteous.
Activities that are prohibited include, but are not limited to: loud music, disrupting other tenants, horseplay, roughhousing, or any other activity that is not pertinent to work.
No tampering with the displayed artwork/decorations or televisions.
Furniture must be utilized appropriately and cannot be moved from its original location.
Please dress appropriately in accordance with the rules and regulations set by the local health department, including but not limited to closed-toed shoes, clean clothes, and hair pulled back.
Be responsible for your own personal items, should you leave something behind, please read the following policy: Abandoned property policy
Clean up after yourself.
No sleeping in common spaces.
Public spaces are under 24-hour camera surveillance.
